Download the QRS

By kind permission of the author and publishers, we are able to offer a download of the DBMM v2 Quick Reference Sheet for the personal use of DBMM players and their opponents. Note of course that the QRS is a summary of the rules and the actual published rules are still needed to cover all the exceptions that the QRS doesn't cover. This is revision 2_03 of the QRS and includes all errors so far reported.

Version 2 of the Army List Clarifications 10/04/2012, brought to you by a team of volunteers led ably by Greg Mann.

Starting A Game

This blog article offers a flow chart showing how to start a game highlighting where to remember things for later on. It focuses on who does what and in what order.  Really useful when combined with one of the weather charts and the deployment chart.

Pre Battle QRS

A Quick Reference Sheet in PDF format that has some useful tables for the pre-battle phase. It includes a handy guide to terrain sizes in cm for 15mm, 25mm and 25mm on a 6'x4' board; the list of the order of placing of terrain types and a weather chart by climate, season and dice difference to help to decide which season to invade Russia in.

At the moment its pretty basic - I will tart it up at some point and make it look more like the main QRS.

Official QRS

By kind permission of the author and publishers, we are able to offer a download of the DBMM v2 Quick Reference Sheet for the personal use of DBMM players and their opponents. Note of course that the QRS is a summary of the rules and the actual published rules are still needed to cover all the exceptions that the QRS doesn't cover.

Revision 2_03 of the QRS includes corrections for the following error:

  • Wb are no longer killed if beaten by Ps(S) in the enemy bound.

Revision 2_02 of the QRS included corrections for the following error:

  • Bd and Wb are now killed if beaten by El in the enemy bound.

Revision 2_01 of the QRS included corrections for the following errors:

  • Disheartened is replaced by shaken in the list of tactical factors.
  • Knights are not destroyed if beaten by Camelry. They flee instead. The original version had both outcomes.
  • 'flee' is replaced by 'Flee' in the Bow outcomes.

Deployment & Movement

This blog article offers a one page summary of the deployment, movement, ranges, terrain definitions, and impetuous troop types all on one page.  All measurements are in cm not paces.  The sheet is available as a pdf file.
